total energy consuming in one day is 800+60=860 now in 30 days it will consume 860x30x6=154800

\fbox{\texttt{\green{Answer:}}}

Energy consumed in 30 days = 154.8 kWh

\fbox{\texttt{\pink{Given:}}}

Power of lamp = 60W

Power of electric iron = 800W

Time operated per day (both appliances) = 6 hours

\fbox{\texttt{\blue{To\:find:}}}

Total energy consumed in 30 days.

\fbox{\texttt{\red{How\:to\:find:}}}

We know, E = P × t (Energy = power × time)

➪ Energy consumed by lamp, \bold{E_1} = 60 × 6 = 360 watt-hour = 0.36 kWh

➪ Energy consumed by electric iron, \bold{E_2} = 800 × 6 = 4800 watt-hour = 4.8 kWh

\therefore Total energy consumed \bold{E=E_1+E_2}

= 0.36 + 4.8 = 5.16 kWh

\therefore Energy consumed in 30 days = 5.16 × 30 = 154.8 kWh
