Step-by-step explanation:

Diameter , D = 80 cm = 0.8 m

Radius , r = 0.4 m

In one revolution distance covered = 2π r= 2×3.14×0.4 = 2.512 m

Width = 1 m

Area covered in one revolution = (2.512×1) = 2.512 m²

Given : A lawn roller is 1m and 80cm high.

To find : area   covered in each revolution

Solution:

A lawn roller is 1m  long

& 80 cm high

Height of Roller = Diameter of roller

=> radius of Roller = 80/2  =  40 cm

Circumference of Circle  =  2πR   = 2 * 3.14 * 40

= 251.2  cm

= 2.512  m

area is covered in each revolution  =  Circumference of Circle   * Length

= 2.512   * 1

= 2.512  m²

2.512  m² is the area  covered in each revolution
