★Given:-
- Intial velocity (u)= 0 ,
- Acceleration (a)= 2m/s²
- Time (t) =10s
★To find:-
- Final velocity and distance travelled.
★Solution:-
Using the first equation of motion,
✦v=u+at
Where,
- v = final velocity
- u = initial velocity = 0
- a = acceleration = 2m/s²
- t = time = 10s
Putting the values,
⇒v =0+2(10)
⇒ v = 20m/s
Using 3rd equation of motion,
✦v²=u²+2as
Putting values,
⇒v²=u²+2as
⇒(20)² = 0 + 2× 2×s
⇒400= 4s
⇒s=400/4
⇒ s= 100m
Therefore,
Final velocity is 20m/sec & Distance is 100m.
