Given:-

  • Intial velocity (u)= 0 ,
  • Acceleration (a)= 2m/s²
  • Time (t) =10s

To find:-

  • Final velocity and distance travelled.

Solution:-

Using the first equation of motion,

v=u+at

Where,

  • v = final velocity
  • u = initial velocity = 0
  • a = acceleration = 2m/s²
  • t = time = 10s

Putting the values,

⇒v  =0+2(10)

v = 20m/s

Using 3rd equation of motion,

v²=u²+2as

Putting values,

⇒v²=u²+2as

⇒(20)² = 0 + 2× 2×s

⇒400= 4s

⇒s=400/4

s= 100m

Therefore,

Final velocity is 20m/sec  & Distance is 100m.
