Dear Student,

● Answer -

Power = 12250 watt

◆ Explanation -

# Given -

v = 700 m/s

m = 50 g = 0.95 kg

n/t = 60 bullets/min = 1 bullet/s

# Solution -

The power developed by the gun is given by formula -

Power = Work done / time

Power = n × (1/2 mv^2) / t

Power = n/t × 1/2 × mv^2

Power = 1 × 1/2 × 0.05 × 700^2

Power = 12250 watt

Hence, the power developed by the gun is 12250 watt.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
