The new magnetic moment of the circle will be  Mπ/2√2.

Magnetic moment of the magnet = M (Given)

Magnetic Moment = Magnetic Length × Pole Strength

Linitial = 2r

Lnew = πr/2

M = m × 2√r where r is the radius of the circle.

Therefore,  

M = m × l

M = m × 2πr/4

= mπr/2

Mnew = Mπ/2√2
