The new magnetic moment of the circle will be Mπ/2√2.
Magnetic moment of the magnet = M (Given)
Magnetic Moment = Magnetic Length × Pole Strength
Linitial = 2r
Lnew = πr/2
M = m × 2√r where r is the radius of the circle.
Therefore,
M = m × l
M = m × 2πr/4
= mπr/2
Mnew = Mπ/2√2
