Let, the number of mangoes he had bought be x
New given that x-(13x/100 + 75x/100) = 522.
Because 13%are rotten and 75% are given to charity. So by subtracting we get 522 mangoes.
Now solving the equation we get,
x -(88x/100) = 522.
12x/100= 522
12x= 52200
x = 52200/12
x = 4350.
So the number of mangoes he bought = 4350.
