a man buys 1 litre of milk for 20 rupees and mix it with 15% of water he then sells this formed milk at 15 rupees per litre find the percentage of loss and this case​

Milk mixed with water = 15% + 1 litre. i. e 23/20 litre.

CP = ₹20

SP = ₹15

Loss = ₹5

Loss % = 5/20 * 100

i.e 25%.

That is the answer.

Solution :-

case -I

he has gained = 15- 12 = 3

Gain% = 3/12×100

=> 100/ 4

he has = 25%

case -II

total revenue =15×1.2 = 18

Profit = 18 - 13 = 6

Profit% = 6/12×100

=> 50% profit
