so, sp of the article= 100 - 6% of 100 = rs 94/kg
But he sells 900g in place of 1kg for rs.94
or, 0.900 kg in place of 1 kg for rs.94
so, price of 1 kg = 94/0.900 ×1 = rs. 104.44
So, actual sp is rs. 104.44/kg
So, gain = sp - cp = 104.44 - 100 = rs.4.44/kg
So, %gain = 4.44/100 × 100 % = 4.44%
