A man has rs 864 in the denomination of 1 rupee, 2 rupee and 5 rupee.If there are equal number of coins of each denomination,what is the total number of coin that he has

Taking a educated guess, lets start with 100 coins of each domination,

500 + 200+ 100 = 800

now start adding equal no. of coins to each domination which adds up to 64

which comes out to be 8 coins each

8*5+8*2+8*1=64

giving a total of 864

thus total no. of coins of each domination=108
