He invested total amount of Rs.9300

Step-by-step explanation:

Principal amount = Rs. x

rate of simple  interest = 15%

time = 5 years

then he invested the amount = x + 300

rate of compound interest = 10%

time = 2 years

obtained interest = Rs. 4383

\frac{x\times 15\times 5}{100}+(x+300)[1+(\frac{10}{100})^{2}-1]=4383

\frac{3}{4}x+\frac{121}{100}x\pm x+363\pm 300=4383

\frac{24}{25}x+63=4383

\frac{24}{25} x=4320

x = 4500

(x + 300) = 4800

Total investment = 4500 + 4800

                           = Rs. 9300

He invested total amount of Rs.9300
