let the present age of the son be x .

then the age of man will be x + 30

after 12 years....

sons age will be 2(12+x)

man's age x+ 50

24+12x=x+ 50

11x= 26

x= 2.3

therefore sons age is 2years 3months

father age is 32 years 3months..

Hi there !! Here is yr answer:-

Let the present age of son be x years

Then the present age of man x+30 years

After 12 years their ages will be :-

Son-x+12 years

Man-30+30+12=x+42 years

According to the question,

x+42=2(x+12)

x+42=2x+24

x-2x=24-42

-x=-24

x=24

Therefore present age of son=24 years

and the present age of man=24+30=54 years
