Answer:

Let man sold his flat = x rupee

And

we know formula for compound interest , As :

Amount = P (1 + r100)t , Here

P = Principle amount ,

r = Rate of interest

And

t = Time in years

Given : He invested half of the money received at a compound interest of 6 % p.a and the other half at 10 % p.a for 3 years. He will get rupees 6305 04 after 3 years . , So we get

⇒x2(1 + 6100)3 + x2(1 + 10100)3 = 630504

⇒x2(1 + 350)3 + x2(1 + 110)3 = 630504

⇒x2(5350)3 + x2(1110)3 = 630504

⇒x2[(5350)3 + (1110)3 ] = 630504

⇒x2[(148877125000) + (13311000) ] = 630504

⇒x2[(148877 +  166375125000) ] = 630504

⇒x2[315252125000 ] = 630504

⇒157626x125000 = 630504

⇒157626x = 78813000000

⇒x = 78813000000157626

⇒x = 500000

So,

Man sold his flat At Rs 5,00,000 ( Ans ).
