Answer:

Let the height of tower be h

Let height of hill be x

tan60o=40x−1.75⇒3=40x−1.75

403=x−1.75

∴, height of hill  x=71.03 m

tan50o=40x−h−1.75

1.19=4071.03−h−1.75

47.67=71.03−h−1.75

Height of towerh=21.1 m
