Solution :-

Given : A man travels a certain distance by train in 4 hrs and 12 min at the speed of 44.8 km per hour.

Speed of the train is increased to 58.8 km per hour.

Let the time taken by train be x hrs.

According to the question,

Distance = Time × Speed

=> (252 × 44.8) = x × 58.8

=> x = 11289.6/58.8 = 192

Hence,

Time taken = 192 minutes or 3 hours and 12 minutes.

Solution:-

Given:-

Time Taken:- 4hours 12min

=> Time Taken = 4.2 hours.

Speed= 44.8km/hr.

Hence,

Distance= Speed × Time

=> Distance= 4.2 × 44.8

=> Distance= 188.16 km.

Now,

Distance= 188.16 km

Speed= 58.8 km/hr

Hence,

Time Taken = Distance/Speed

=> Time = 188.16/58.8

=> Time = 3.2 hours.

Hence,

Time Taken is 3.2 Hours.
