A man walks 20 meters towards north, he then turns left and walks 40 meters. He again turns left and walks 20 meters.Further he moves 20 meters after turning to the right.How far is he from his origional position. (My teacher told me 60 meters but how I want to know please type the procrdure and solution.)

Ya, your teacher is right.
It comes 60 metres because first he turns north,20 metres. Then, he turns to left i.e. to west and walks 40 metres. then turns to left i.e. to South and walks 20 metres.Now, he is at a distance of 40 metres from his home in a straight line. Now, as in the question, he again turns to right, i.e. the direction opposite to his home and walks 20 metres. So, distance from his home is 40(earlier)+20 metres which comes off 60 metres.
