Let x be the number of hens and y be the number of buffalows.
Each Hen has 2 eyes and 2 legs.
Each buffalow has 2 eyes and 4 legs.
Total no of eyes = 120
So 2x + 2y = 120......(1)
Total no of legs = 180
So 2x + 4y = 180......(2)
Solving (1) and (2) we get,
x = 30 and y = 30
Therefore There are 30 hens and 30 buffalows.
