             Memorable Holidays Spent with Grandmother

This summer vacation I had a great time at my granny’s place. My granny’s village is in Himachal Pradesh. It is a sylvan spot of elysian beauty. The rustic villa is on the top of the hill. The temperature is pleasantly cool. All around are terraced fields where pure natural vegetables grow. Beyond the fields are natural forests. The source of water is a stream. Every morning I go to the stream to fetch pure water for drinking and cooking.

I reached my granny’s village on June 4, 2018 in the afternoon. She had cooked a delicious lunch for me. The sweet whey was awesome. As long as I stayed there I went to the stream to fetch pure water for drinking and cooking; I had my bath in the stream every day!

Everyday my granny would cook the most scrumptious dishes for me; I would lend her a helping hand in the fields and milking cows. At times the hill top got surrounded by pure white clouds. My cousin would take make to the edge of forest; but we never went inside it as there are some wild animals in it. I was fully refreshed and rejuvenated after a week’s stay there. I had to come back to noisy and polluted city. This stay at granny’s hamlet will remain as one of the most memorable stays.
