# Given-
Em = 20 V
fm = 20 kHz
Ec = 40 V
fc = 2 mHz = 2000 kHz

# Solution-
Modulation index is given by -
Modulation index = Em / Ec
Modulation index = 20 / 40
Modulation index = 0.5

Side bands produced are
fc+fm and fc-fm -
fc + fm = 2000 + 20 = 2020 Hz
fc - fm = 2000 - 20 = 1980 Hz
