When the metal cylinder is melted and reshaped, its mass, i.g. weight of the metal remains the same, assuming there are no losses in the process.
When the chape is changed from cylinder to cube, at gievn temperature, without any external compression, the metal will occupy the same amount of volume it was occupying in previous shape of cylinder.
Thus as both Mass and the volume of the metal remains the same in cube form which was is cylindrical form, density will also remains the same.
