A milk seller has a milk of rs.100 per litre. in what ratio should water be mixed in that milk, so that after selling the mixture at rs.80 per litre, he may get a profit of 50%?

Here the selling price (SP) of milk is 80 and gain is 50%. Therefore cost price (CP) of milk will be 100 divided by 150 multiplied by 80.

Because cost price will be equal to 100 divided by 100 multiplied by gain percent multiplied by selling price. Thus the value will be 160 divided by 3.
