a mixture contains milk and water in the ratio 5:1 . On adding 5 litre water, the ratio of milk to water become 5:2. Find the quantity of milk in the original mixture.

HEY FRND HERE IS UR ANS.....

Let the quantity of water be x
And quantity of milk be 5x

Now,

On adding 5L of water ....

total water become x+5

Now,

The ratio is 5x/x+5 = 5/2

x = 5

so , the quantity of milk in original mixture 5x

5 × 5 = 25 Ans.
