Acceleration = -6 m/s Time to come to rest =3.33s Distance travelled = 8.33m

Calculation: Acceleration formula v2 -u2 =2fs

where v=final velocity, u= initial velocity, f=Acceleration

s=distance 102 -202 =2xfx25 f=-6m/sec2 v=u+ft 0=20 -6t t=20/6=3.33sec

Distance travelled v2=u2+2fs here v=0 so, 0=102 -2x6xs s=100/12=8.33 m

As the car was slowing down, acceleration will be negative.
