From the formula, work done by lifting water per second \[=300g\frac{\left( d+h \right)}{t}\] \[=300\times 9.8\times \frac{(20+20)}{60}\] \[1960\,W=1.96\,kW\]

HEY.

HERE IS THE ANSWER.

____________________________

h = 25+35 m=60m

flow rate = (m/t) = 6 tonnes/20min
=6000/20 kg/min
=300/60 kg/sec
=5 kg/sec

Power P = mgh/t = 5×10×60 =3000 watt

So, Power of the pump is 3kW.
