Velocity in m/s =[( 90×1000)/(60×60)]m/s
=>25m/s
Time=4s
Now,
u = 25m/s
v=0m/s
acceleration= (v-u)/t
=>(0-25)4
=>-25/4
=>-6.25m/s^2
Hence, there is retardation of 6.25m/s^2
Given,
m=1000kg
a=6.25m/s
F=ma
=>1000×6.25
=>6250
Thus, the force applied = 6250N.
