a) inertia

b) mass

c) When we suddenly shake the tree the leaves continue to remain in the state of rest (inertia), due to this strain of leaves being set into sudden motion, they fall off.

Hope it helps..pls mark as brainliest;-)

Inertia is the property which resists a change in state of motion.

Mass is the measure of inertia.

It is due to inertia of rest.

If the tree is vigorously shaken then initially the leaves are at rest and continues to be in a state of rest so when the tree is shaken the branchs alone will move and the leaves continue to be in a state of rest and fall down because of gravity.
