this is because, tungsten has high melting point and if used as a wire in a fuse it's going to be of no use and if the voltage becomes high the appliances connected to it will get fused.

Answer:
it will help you to understand
Explanation:
this is because tungsten wire has high melting point and it turns white hot when current flows through it and there is no use of tungsten wire in a fuse and if the voltage becomes high the devices /appliances connected to it will get fused.
