A Number is first increased by 20% and then decreased by 15%. Find the net increase or decrease. Dost it make any difference if it is 15% decreased first and then20% increased?

In first case,
Let the number be x
increased by 20%=x+(20÷100)x=1.2x
decreased by 15%=1.2x-0.15x=1.05x
net increase=1.5x-x=0.5x
in second case,
decreased by 15%=x- 0.15x=0.85x
increased by 20%=0.85x+0.2x=1.05x
in both cases solution is same.
