You need to add the ratio
So it will be 100
Now 100/15
Which is 85 so 85 x 40 to find out the answer
So it will be he used 3400 litres of thinner

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

paint: thinner =60: 40

60x= 15000ml

x= 15000\60

x=250

40x= 250*40

40x= 10000

amount of thinner used= 10 liter
