A park is in the shape of a triangle . Children of the surrounding colony play different sports like cricket, football etc in the park, due to which it is difficult for the adults and old people to sit in the park. It was then decided by the colony welfare association to construct a triangular play area within the park and grass wlii be grown on the remaining area

In the figure , ∆ SQR is the play area and the shaded area is the area with the grass.
Also ST = 50m, QR =90m and the area of the larger triangle is 5000 m².

Q 15. If the cost of cultivating the grass is ₹2 per m², find the total cost of cultivating the grass in the park.
