Convert 2 min 20 s = 2 × 60s + 20s = 140 s

In 40 s = 140 / 40 = 3.5 rounds

Well, take 3 rounds from point A and you will be surely standing at same place, now take half round and you will at B

Displacement = Diameter

Let radius be r, then diameter 2r.

Circumference = 3.5 × 2 × 22 / 7 × r
= 22r

Displacement / Distance = 2r / 22r = 1 / 12 or 1 : 11.
