Circumference of circle is 2πr
Quarter of circumference is  2πr*1/4
Therefore two quarters of circumference is 2*2πr/4=4πr/4=πr
Therefore, now the particle has traveled half the way on the circumference
And displacement(shortest distance between both points) is the diameter of the circle, which is twice the radius
Hence, the particle now is at displacement of magnitude of 2r from the initial point.
