Solution :-

Given

▪️initial velocity = 5 m/s

▪️Acceleration = -2.5 m/s²

▪️Time = 4 sec

As we know that

v = u + at

Where

v = final velocity

u = Initial velocity

t = time

a = acceleration

Now we will subsitute the value of

a = -2.5 m/s²

t = 4 sec

u = 5 m/s

Then

→ v = 5 m/s + (-2.5 m/s²) × 4 s

→ v = 5 m/s + ( -10 m/s)

→ v = (5 - 10 )m/s

→ v = -5 m/s
