To find the area of path we need to rectangle one with path and one with grass. So we need to add 1.5m in both dimensium

Area of big rectangle = 31.5×21.5
= 677.25

Area if small rectangle= 30× 20
= 600
Now area of path= 677.25-600
= 77.25
The cost is = 77.25×12
= 927

Answer:

we add 1.5 in both dimension

area of big rectangle=31.5×21.8

=677.25

area of small rectangle=30×20

=600

Now area of path=677.25-600

=77.25

the cost is= 77.25×12

=927
