a pen stand is cylinder in shape with base radius 3.5 cm and height 10.5 cm . how much card board will be required to make 25 such pen stand ? also find volume of 1 pen stand​

Answer:

Radius(r) = 3.5cm

Height(h) = 10.5cm

TSA of cylinder = 2πr(r+h)

=2 * 22/7 * 3.5(3.5+10.5)

=2 * 22 * 0.5 * 14

=44 * 7

=308 cm²

∴TSA of 1 pen = 308 cm²

⇒ Area of 25 pen stands = 25 * 308

                                          = 7700 cm²
