=40/4
=10Hz
Time=1/frequency
=1/10
=0.1s
Hope it helps you....☺☺

Frequency is defined as the number of oscillations completed by the body in a time of 1 s .

Time period is defined as the time taken to complete 1 vibration .

Formula :

Frequency = number of oscillations / time taken .

                  = 40 / 4 s

                  = 10 / s

                  = 10 Hz

Formula :

Time period = 1 / frequency

                    = 1 / 10 Hz

                    = 0.1 s

ANSWER:

The frequency is 10 Hz.

The time period is 0.1 s
