let x be one of the equal side of the isosceles triangle.
let y be the base.
thus,
y=x+11
thus,
x+x+y=50
2x+x+11=50 (since, y=x+11)
3x=50-11
3x=39
x=13
therefore, the length of the equal sides is 13cm and that of the base is, 13+11=24cm
