Myopia , as 25 cm is min. Distance to see an object clearly by normal eye but as in question he is not able to see upto distance of 50 cm he is suffering from disease myopia that is if person is not able to see near object clearly then he is suffering from myopia and if not able to see far objects clearly he is suffering from hypermetropia

Hey dude if a person can see nearby object clearly by miopic eye but he cant see ddidtant object and aperson with hypermetropic eye he can see distant object clearly but nearby object not

Hypermetropia, as this person cannot read book upto 50 cm, he is not able to see nearby object clearly.
