SolutionLet v=speed in first half and t=time taken to cover first half
Distance = vt (i)
For the second half;
Speed=v+(20v/100)=6v/5
Time =(t-0.5)hrs
Distance =(6v/5)(t-1/2) (ii)
From (i) and (ii), we get vt = (6v/5)(t-0.5)
t=3 hour
Distance = vt (i)
For the second half;
Speed=v+(20v/100)=6v/5
Time =(t-0.5)hrs
Distance =(6v/5)(t-1/2) (ii)
From (i) and (ii), we get vt = (6v/5)(t-0.5)
t=3 hour
