With the vertices A, B ,C of a triangle ABC as centres, arcs are drawn with radii 5 cm each as shown in the given fig. If AB=14 cm, BC =48 cm and CA = 50 cm, then find the area of shaded region (use π = 3.14)

Area of triangle can be calculated as

S = AB + BC + AC / 2
   = 112/2
   = 56
Thus area  = S root [ (S-a) (S-b) (S-c) ]
                  = 56 root [ 42 * 6 * 8 ]
                  = 56 root [1816]
                 = 2386
