A person saw an Apple laptop in the showcase of a shop. A label below the laptop mentions
the price as Rs 157,000. He had been looking for that model of laptop for a long time. He
approached the shop to buy one such laptop. However, he was told that the shop did not

have that model in stock. The shopkeeper also said that he could not promise him one later
either, as the company of that laptop reintroduced another version of the same model and stop
manufacturing this. The person insisted that he had the right to buy the one kept in the
showcase. Do the seller is obliged to sell the laptop to the person. Write the appropriate
provisions of the Indian Contract Act applicable to decide the issue between the seller and
person (buyer).
