Given,

Starts driving at 9:00 am

Location x is 175km away.

Average speed is 70 km/h

To find,

Time of arrival at the location x.

Solution,

We can simply solve this mathematical problem by using the following mathematical process.

Here, we need to calculate the time (in hours and minutes) taken by person to reach the location x. Then we will add that time with the time (on clock) of departure to get the time (on clock) of arrival at location x.

Now,

Time taken = Distance / Speed

Time taken = 175/70 = 2.5 hours = 2 hours 30 minutes

So,

The person will reach location x, at :

= 9:00 am + 2 hours 30 minutes

= 11:30 am

Hence, he will reach the destination at 11:30 am
