Answer:

it's speed.

Explanation:

cause the unit used here is m/s and not m/s^2

hope this helped u ✌

shreeyanshi04: unit of velocity is also m/s
sudeshnanag: m/s² is the unit of acceleration buddy
nandini82005: the question is -10m/s.......I did not get it.....could u explain me pls
sudeshnanag: your answer is wrong
Anonymous: oh no... u r right...
Anonymous: my answer is wrong
Anonymous: very sorry ...!
nandini82005: so... the ans is velocity
dipanjan27: The and is velocity. Speed of an object can not be negative because S=D/t, Distance and time both can not be negative. On the other hand Velocity=Displacement/time, displacement can be negative because it is a vector quantity.

Hey mate here's the answer to your question:-

10m/s is speed. As we all know that speed is the length of path covered irrespective of direction.

Or 10m/s is considered to be speed just for the sake of convenience. If you are a student of class 9, without any hesitation consider 10m/s as speed. Because it is considered to be speed just for the simplicity of the answer.

Hope it's helpful.

sudeshnanag: hey mate
nandini82005: hello
sudeshnanag: It is —10m/s because the acceleration is negative
sudeshnanag: That means the object is retarding
nandini82005: ohhhhh.....I got it
nandini82005: tq
sudeshnanag: your most welcome sis
