A piece of the wire 352cm long is bent into the form of a circle. what is the diameter of the circle?

here's ur answer...

given that the length of the piece of wire is 352cm and it's bent into a circle.

therefore the circumference of the circle is 352cm.

=> 2πr = 352cm

=> 2×22/7×r = 352cm

=> 44/7×r = 352cm

=> r = 352/1×7/44

=> r = 8×7

=> r = 56cm

VERIFICATION:-

circumference of the circle = 2πr

= 2×22/7×56

= 44×8

= 352cm

hence verified

thus the radius of the circle is 56cm.

we know that diameter is double of radius, there diameter of the circle = 56×2

= 112cm

use the formula for circumference of a circle and solve:

      22/7 * d = 352cm or 2 * 22/7 * r=352
                  d or 2r=112cm.
