a pit 5 m long and 3.5 m wide is dug to a certain depth. if the volume of earth taken out of it is 14 m cube, what is the depth of the pit?

The volume of the pit dug =
length* breath* height

The volume of pit dug = volume taken out !

Volume taken out = 14 m³
So , Length*breadth*height = 14m³

length = 5m,
breath = 3.5m = width,
let height = h,

5*3.5*h m² = 14m³
h = 0.8 m

Therefore the height = 0.8 m. !
