a plane is flying in the height of 5000m above the sea level at a particular point it is exactly above submarine floating 1200m below the sea level what is the vertical distance between them?

lets take the plane as point B, the sea level as point A and the submarine as point C

distance between B and C
=BA +AC
=5000+1200
=6200m
