Sorry as I couldn't attach a picture for reference.

We know that the whole area would be :

Area of rectangle + Area of 2 semi-circles

First, let's find the area of the rectangle

RECTANGLE:

Area = Length × Breadth

        = 90 × 56

        = 5040m²

Then, let's find the area of two semi-circles

Two semi-circles = 1 circle

CIRCLE:

Area = πr²

Here, r = 56 ÷ 2             (∵Semi-circle lies on the shorter side : 56m)

⇒ r = 28m

∴ Area = πr²

           = 22/7 × 28 × 28

           = 22 × 4 × 28

           = 2464m²

Hence,

Total area = 5040 + 2464

          = 7504m²
