Electric potential at (3, 4) is 1.8 × 10^7 volts.

Given : A point of magnitude 10 mC is placed at origin.

To find : The value of electric potential at (3, 4).

solution : The point charge is placed at origin and we have to find the electric potential at (3, 4).

so seperation between (0,0) to (3, 4) , r = √{(3 - 0)² + (4 - 0)²} = 5 m

using formula, V = kq/r

here q = 10 mC = 10 × 10¯³ C = 0.01 C , r = 5 m

so, Electric potential = (9 × 10^9 × 0.01)/(5)

= 1.8 × 10^7 volts

Therefore electric potential at (3, 4) is 1.8 × 10^7 volts.
