A porter liffts a luggage of 20 kg from the ground and puts it on his head 1.5 m above the ground calculate the work done by him on the luggage

m = 15kg

g = 10m/s^2

h = 1.5m

As work done by an object is equal to the potential energy stored in an object.

Therefore,

W = mgh

= 15×10×1.5

= 225J.
