A potentiometer wire has length 10m and resistance 10ohm. it is connected to a battery of emf 11 volt and internal resistance 1 ohm

We have,
1) Length of Potentiometer wire, L = 10 m
EMF of Battery, V = 11 V
Internal Resistance of battery, r= 10 ohm
Resistance of wire, R = 10 ohm

2) Equivalent Resistance (series) ,
 R_{eq} = R + r
 R_{eq} = 10\Omega+ 1\Omega  = 11 \Omega

3) Therefore, By Ohm 's Law,
 V = IR_{eq}  \\ <br />=&gt; I = 1 A

Therefore, Current flowing in the Circuit is 1 A.
