A prism of refractive index sqrt(2) has a refracting angle of 60°. At what angle must a ray incident on it so that it suffers minimum deviation?

1) 30°
2) 45°
3) 60°
4) 75°.

here is your answer your formula is applicable too but only when angle of deviation is given in this case simply use this formula..
